not napping in big boy bed?

DS goes down fine at night in his bed but for naps its a huge struggle. He just runs around in his room and tears what he can apart. Ive darkened the room as much as I can, put all his toys in the closet and all he has is just a few stuffed animals and books he can fiddle with. I've been going in and redirecting him back into bed over and over. At night I might have to do this maybe once or twice but its a 180* change during the day. WWYD?

It's not uncommon for children that age to start giving up their naps.  You should continue to put him in his room so you get some time to yourself.  If he chooses to use that time to play, then let him play in his room.
