Need a New High Chair

We currently have the space saver for DS to have at our dinner table. However, our chairs are not that stable so we need a new one. 

I was thinking about the stokke tripp trap chair. Do any of you have this? It would be an investment. I was not sure what color to get and maybe I should just get a regular chair. It also needs to be able to fit at our counter area/bar stool height. 

Thoughts? What do you have? Do you like it?

    I got the basic white one from IKEA and love it.  It doesn't take up much space, and it is super easy to clean.

    We have the Tripp Trapp and I love it. Yes, it's pricey, but it blends seamlessly with our modern-ish furniture and DD has been part of our dinner table from the day we put her in it because it pulls right up to the table.

    Obviously one of the benefits of the Tripp Trapp is that it's a lifetime chair. The kiddo can use it throughout childhood and beyond.

    It's also really easy to wipe down as long as you do it after every meal. :)

    Ohhhh, it's probably not going to work well for you at the counter. I guess you could keep the seat at its uppermost level, but I feel like it would still be short.

    This is what I was think thinking, which is why I am seriously thinking about it. DS always wants to see what I am doing in the kitchen and is starting to want to color. So we need a chair for the counter.

    Stay away from anything Chicco! We have a Chicco and of all the baby stuff we have (bouncy seats, toys etc) this is the least worth the money. The tray doesn't slide correctly, sometimes it clicks in, sometimes you have to slide it back and forth repeatedly to get it to lock in, the straps are poorly designed - it is basically a mess. I want to write a letter to the company but have yet to find the time.

     OK. Off my soapbox.
