Another c-section question....

When did you all go in a hot tub after a c-section? It's been four and a half weeks since mine, and I am DYING to go in a jacuzzi! But I have been reading to wait 6 weeks. Did you go in sooner?

    No soaking of any kind for at least 6 weeks. I follow that rule for all my surgeries, including my c section.  Does your incision look fully healed?  If yes, then you're probably fine.

    Yeah you are probably right...  Although I called my doctors office and the nurse said it was okay to take a bath though if I have had no complications. So far so good except some  tenderness obviously. But my six week appointment isn't until Feb 4.

    Is it your own hot tub?  If yes, then I think you're fine.  I wouldn't go in a public hot tub until you're fully healed.

    Nope a hotel hot tub...  Yeah I think I will wait a couple weeks... just to be safe. Boo!!  :(

    I take a jacuzzi bath in my bathtub every night since I was two week post c-section. My doc says as soon as the steri strips come off, you are safe to soak.

    Ok I caved!! I took a jacuzzi! And boy did that feel good...  :)  :)
