numbness?...TMI

I am completely numb in my vag.  Well, not really in my vag...kind of on the side...I guess on my labia??  It has no feeling at all and I can't lift my left leg because of it.  Anybody experienced this???

I saw an episode of a baby story where the mom had paralysis on one entire side of her face, like she had a stroke... apparently it is a side effect of pregnancy that we rarely hear about. Of course referencing a tv show is in no way a means of diagnosis, but for some reason it reminded me of that.

However, with my last pregnancy my stomach was numb is some areas towards the end, it could just be a matter of blood flow to the area. If you are having trouble walking I would call the doc... you don't want to lose your labia lol.

Sounds like the baby is on your sciatic nerve.

Have you had issues with your sciatica? I have had sciatic pain and I will get numbness throughout my left side of my butt and thru my leg.  I would say that could be it...and its normal.  Sciatic issues can cause temporary paralysis.
