very sad few days back at home... Prayers Please

Divers pulled the 9 year old girl out of the water at approximatelty 9pm tonight. She had been in the water for approximately 6 hours.She was taken by Eagle Med to Freeman Health System in Joplin. We were notified moments ago that the girl is alive.Crews pulled the girl's 12 year old brother from the water late this afternoon, after being in the water for almost 45 mintues. He was then air-lifted to Freeman Health System, where he's listed in critical condition tonight.Authorities say the two kids were sledding at a private home 4 miles northeast of Southwest City when they fell into a pond. Authorities say the cold conditions made the snow packed, the ice was thick around the pond's edge but got thinner toward the middle, making it easy for the kids to fall through the ice.We were also notified from Freeman just minutes ago that both children will be transported to Kansas City, within the hour. This was a news report late last night.. The 12y/o boy was found withing an hour of it happening and is in VERY CRITICAL condition this morning.. and the 9y/o girl passed away.. I have talked to the mom (a distant friend) She said they where sledding down the hill and her dd (so light) slide onto the pond and it gave out and she feel in.. Her brother ran to try to help save her (the parents were on top of the hill running down watching it all happen) and the ice gave out before he made it over to her..
