Wow, I'm sensitive today.

I'm 31 Weeks, 22 years old, & happily expecting a baby girl

I went to Forever21 today to grab a few maternity tops. (They're cute & reasonably priced) & while browsing the maternity section these two girls were walking by and one stopped to look at something. The other girl yanks her arm & yells 'OMG you're looking in the MATERNITY section!' & they start busting up. That irritated me, but whatever. 

THEN in the dressing room the same two girls were in there while I was trying on some tops (already flustered b/c I feel so big!) & I hear one say to the other 'EW NO I look pregnant in this! omg, no!' & she said it like 3-4 times!

I know I'm being dramatic.. but come on! I'm already feeling big.. & she's complaining, I'm assuming, b/c whatever top she had on made her look 'fat'..

My mom was with me, so I made sure to tell her LOUD enough, that if I heard that girl talk about looking pregnant  ONE MORE time.. that we were going to be having a problem.. Then went back into my dressing room & cried  a little bit. Ah!!

I KNOW it's not a big deal, I'm just really surprised how sensitive I've become!!

If this was a teen girl, I am okay with her not wanting to look pregnant.

I must say, there have been times in the past when I tried on a top and looked "pregnant." Not fat. Pregnant. Usually anything with an empire waist, given the large boobage situation I have going on. And while I think pregnant women are beautiful, when I'm not expecting I do NOT want to look like I am.

Hope you got some cute clothes to make up for it.

I didn't know Forever 21 had maternity.

You have to consider the source. Most of the people that shop at that store are teenagers and we all know how rude, disrespectful and downright obnoxious teenage girls can be these days.

That said, I'm really sorry you had a frustrating afternoon shopping. I know it's tough sometimes to buy clothes when you're feeling extra big and bloated but take solice in the fact that YOU are pregnant..they're just dumb and obnoxious.
