Scarlett had her 4m appointment today.
She is 12lbs, 8oz (10-25%), 24.5 inches (50-75%).
Let's just compare that to Jackson, the original beast child, at 4m.
17lbs, 5oz (75-90%) and 27.5 inches (greater than 95%).
I need a mental adjustment so I can guess right on clothing sizes to buy. Gah.
And here she is, today, in all her peanut glory:
PS - this pose is what happens when big brother was sitting next to you for a photo op but then jumped up to do something else because he was tired of the camera. Little sister tends to topple over.
Re: This child is a PEANUT
How can she be four months old already??? I can't believe how precious she is.
How's the reflux? I hope it's gone away.

xti - first of all, LOVE your sig pics, the kids are darling! And second of all, what is up with these girlies throwing us off our game? I can't even buy for spring right now - I swear she's still going to be wearing 3-6m. I bought some 6-12m but I think I might exchange it... sigh.
Yes, ginandtonic! It's like we have the same kids, size wise!
It's such an adjustment.
Femme - her reflux is still going on, but I'm hopeful we're in the home stretch. It's medicated and we thicken her bottles, so while the spit up can get old, I don't have too much to complain about!
JOE - funnily enough, with Jackson (who like I mentioned, was a beast), I had terrible back issues from the time he was 7m until about 12m (when he started walking). I did physical therapy and it helped, but I was in a lot of pain for quite awhile.
awwwwww she such a cute peanut!
Hey quick question....my grandson at his 4 month appt. weighs 18lbs 2oz & 26.5 inches long. His pedi said he's borderline obese & they should think about cutting back his feedings. WTF???? I dont think he's obese at all...just a big chunky baby.
Did you pedi ever say anything like that to you?
Ethan and Bella are like that...obviously you know Ethan's huge for his age, and Bella's super tiny. It's cute, though. Maile's huge like Ethan.
The best was when this lady asked if they were twins...Ethan was right around a year, and 35ish lbs, and Bella was a few weeks old and about 7 lbs. Seriously.
LOL, GHM! It's funny my brother and I often got asked that (well our mom did) because I was older, but we were always about the same size even though I had 2 years on him. There's a picture of me holding him and I am about 2.5 and he is 6m. My mom said we weighed the same at that point, haha! He totally looks like he's the same size as me even though he is on my lap.
wellfleet - it's seriously crazy to have a tiny baby after having a baby that was so big, all the time! My back might be thanking me, though...
She's beautiful!
DD2 ended up being much smaller than DD1 which threw me off too! They are complete opposite seasons though so it sort of worked out because I could re-use a bunch of Grace's things (stuff Grace wore at 9 months is fitting Emi at 15 months). Maybe the spring 6-12 clothing will work for her come fall!
DD was 10lbs, 10oz. at her 2 month check up. And only 21.5 inches. She was born at full term only weighing 5lbs, 8 oz., so it took her a while to catch up. She was always in the lowest percentiles.
At 4 months she was barely 13 lbs.
But now - she's totally par with everyone in her preschool and sprouted like a weed over the summer!
