For sure! I was having a cupcake craving last night, but was in San Diego. My friend found me a fabulous red velvet cupcake at a local bakery, but I gotta say - all I could do was compare that cream cheese frosting to the fabulousness I love at Ettore's. And nothing compares to that...

I would LOVE to meet up with you! Cake would just be a bonus

Fruit basket cake!! SO GOOD! Mmm...my mom would get it for me for my bdays in high school, once I discovered a serious love for it. It was both a blessing and a total curse (mostly curse) when my mom told me, "yeah, that place I used to get your fruit basket bday cake? Across the street from where you're living now..." when I first moved in with T. We'd get cake for every occassion, basically. Especially after they made our wedding cake too...

"Happy 4th monthaversary!" Cake!

"Happy 2 years since the day we met!" Cake!

"It's Wednesday!" Cake!

Love (and loathe ) Ettore's.

Total side note but perhaps T would be up for this for you Stef....

I have a serious LOVE for really, really good carrot cake. I could eat an entire cake if I tried. To prevent me from doing so, R and I made an agreement that I only get it after I run long distance races. Of course, that is not enough to satisfy my love of CC. So, R always tells me that as soon as I am pg, he will bring me CC weekly! Oh husbands! Now, if only that last part comes true asap.....!

Next week is great for me I'm free all evenings and most of the day Friday too.

And, after this thread, I totally had to put in a request for Ettore's for dessert tonight (don't think I won't still be up for it next week though too!! ) with the husband. He works right across the street so it's an easy stop for him on the way home. Something tells me this is going to get dangerous...

And, I have my fingers and toes crossed for that last part to come true for you asap, K!!!!!
