15 month old wakes up at odd hours of the night and cries - help me.

I don't know what to think.

She was STTN for a while.  Now, every other night - she'll get up and start to cry.  I don't get it.  

is she getting too big for her crib?  teething again? Just being a tot and afraid of the dark?

At first I thought she was getting sick but we're going on 2 weeks of this.  One night she'll STTN, the other not. 

what gives?

My little man did this from 15 -17 months and it was because he was getting his molars.

when my LO is teething, he will either cry a bit in his sleep or full on wake up and cry. he always puts himself back to sleep. and he only does this if he is uncomfortable.

seriously.  It has to be teeth.  Her fingers are always in her mouth.  Makes sense.

 This! DD did it between 15-17 months as well. I never quite figured out the culprit but always blamed teeth. She used to wake up at midnight like clockwork.

We are going through the same thing with my 15 month DD.  I blame it partly on teeth and partly on overstimulation and not enough napping at daycare.  It seems worse on Monday nights after a full day at daycare.

I do give her ibuprofen some nights and that seems to help--but I don't want to make a habit of it.

G just got done going through this exact same thing.  It went on for about a month.  I still have no idea what her problem was but one day it just stopped.
