Hey ladies.
We are having the boys' baptism in conjunction with our niece (born same week). I think it is a great way to celebrate the occasion. SIL and I had thought of doing a joint invite, however, DH thinks that it may put some people in the position to have to buy the other family a gift (ie, SIL's family will have to buy for my boys, my family will have to buy for niece).
So, if we go with 2 invites, then DH's family/friends will think we are odd for not getting 1 invite (and they are the bulk of the guests).
Opinions please?
ETA - It is quite difficult to find a *cute* invite that fits the names of 3 babies. Once you get into triplet stuff, it gets not cute anymore IMO.
Re: Baptismal invites opinion pls
I agree with your DH. Especially if you don't personally know everyone that's going and there would be people there that wouldn't normally buy the boys gifts for any other occasion.

Just to simplify the situation and avoid any troubles I would just make the invite for your boys. You will get the invite you want and it will become a part of their "memory box" without having to share the card with anyone else. lol
If you were to go with the invite for all 3...some people may feel obliged to get a gift for all kids but to be honest, if I were to get such invite, I would only get gifts for the kids I know. But not sure how others would take it.
In reference to invitations, you will have quite a few options if you go for an invite just for your boys. If you go for all 3 on 1, you may want to look at the invites that target sells that you can print at home. They are simple, not the cutest in the world, but are more spacious. Good luck!
