Hello there .. Just wondering who can suggest a good OBGYN in the west knoxville area? I will be driving from Crossville area so I would like Park West or Mercy Hospital please Thank You !!

Conteporary Women's Health, their group of Dr. all deliver at Parkwest.  My sister had Dr. Yang for her first and I've got her now.  She's great!!!!

I ADORE Dr. Ellen Moffat with Ft. Sanders. They do have a West location. I have been going to her for 12 years and will be working with her as I start TTC this fall.

I second Generations OBGYN at ParkWest.  They are wonderful! I specifically see Dr. Many. They are proactive and a pleasure to see.  And right next door to the hospital!

I don't have any major issues or concerns with Dr. Evitt because quite honestly, I hardly ever saw her. The office staff on the other hand is unhelpful, uninformative, and rude. I came as a new patient at 8 weeks pregnant in 2011. Being my first pregnancy, I had many questions, concerns, and also didn't know what to expect and ask. . At 8 weeks, my first appointment included a consultation with Dr. Evitt and an ultrasound. I was not given any information or paperwork on what to expect each week of my pregnancy and I was also never told what to expect with my next appointment. I felt completely in the dark, but being my first prengnancy, I didn't know any better! They scheduled my 12 week appointment, did not inform me of what the appointment would consist of. We showed up 30 minutes prior to our appointment only to be told that Dr. Evitt had been performed a C-Section on a patient and wasn't there to see me. They did not call to re-schedule so We missed work for nothing. The nurse proceeded to take a second ultrasound at 12 weeks anyways even though no bloodwork or testing could be completed without the doctor. The following week, we came in again for the appointment. My husband and I had opted to test for down's syndrome just for peace of mind. I was told I would be called with the test results in 5-7 days. 7 days went by with no phone call. I called. "Tests results will be back in 7-14 days. 14 days went by, I called again. "Test results will be back in 14-21 days". 3 weeks had gone by, still had NO idea of the health of my baby. I called, very upset. The staff was rude, told me that it was typical to wait that long, accused me of lying about being told 5-7 days, and would not allow me to speak to the doctor. I told them I was looking to change doctors and would want my medical records released. They could absolutely care less, "all you need to do is fill out the release form" In 2 days, we have our first appointment with Dr. Cottam at Park West and are very excited. The office has called twice assuring we will be very pleased, they have sent information packets regarding the baby's health and also insurance payments (something that was NEVER explained by Mercy West) VERY DISAPPOINTED withISIS Womens Care and Dr. Evitt's office staff. WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I go to Dr. Schroeder (he's in the professional bldg at Parkwest). His practice consists of just him and his wife (Dr. Cadigan). I can NOT say enough great things about him! He delivered our son and was very helpful when I had a hard time getting pregnant again (Im 6 weeks today!). I highly recommend him!!!!

Dr. Glover at East Tennessee Women's Specialist at Mercy West is wonderful.  He has delivered over 7,000 babies.  He stayed in my room for 2 hours while I labored.  I saw him every time I went in for an office visit and you won't find a nicer  and friendlier office staff.  He knows his stuff and truly cares for his patients.

I got to Dr. Webb out of Park west.  She is currently just a gyn, but will work in conjunction with Dr. Cadigan when I get pregnant. I love Dr. Webb and have heard wonderful things about Cadigan as well.  Cadigan and her husband are both obgyn's.

I am sure by now you found a Dr in the area but thought I would give you my recommendation as well. I too go to Contemporary Women's Health. I see Krista Hodges, PA she is awesome, down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. The Staff/Nurses/Techs are great and Dr. Yang and Dr. Roberts are wonderful.

Dr. Paula Peeden on Northshore is wonderful. She doesn't do deliveries, though, so if you're with her and you're pregnant, about 1/2 way through, you have to transfer to one of her partners. Her partners are Drs. Tatum and Tsaltas, and their office is located at St. Mary's off Broadway behind Fulton HS.

I had a great experience with this group of doctors.
