Gotten spare parts for Medela pump? I need advice...

I know several ladies have mentioned before that they were able to order new parts for their Medela pumps. I bought a used one from a friend but obviously would like to replace the tubing. Does anyone have experience in getting these parts replaced? How did you go about it? I looked at Medela's website, but no go. The only replacement parts I saw were the shields.

Re: Gotten spare parts for Medela pump? I need advice...

  • I had a Medela pump given to me before I had my first and like you I wanted to have the tubing replaced.  The hospital I delivered at could sell me the new tubing pack at the time of my delivery (and insurance helped pay!!!).  I would call your hospital and see if you could get it through them...I plan on replacing them again this go round, too.

  • I ordered new tubing, valves and horns off of amazon before.
  • I was able to get a set with replacement shields, valves and membranes at Target for about $9.00 each set. Tubing I had to get on Amazon. Only cost me about $5.00 and since I was ordering a few other things that day I qualified for free shipping. I always try to choose vendors on Amazon that have Fulfillment through Amazon so I know it is reliable.

  • I had success ordering from this site. It took me forever to find them and figure out what parts I needed. I ended up getting shields, connectors, valves, membranes, and tubing. Good luck!

  • My co workers (at the little shower thing they threw for me) got me the package that contains all of the spare parts except the tubing. They sell it at Target for like $25 bucks which it cheaper than what I found as far as buying the individual pieces. I still have to buy tubing though so I think I'll probably just get it off of Amazon.

  • I know at my hospital I found the tubing at the pharmacy there. It was only $8. They also had other spare parts but that's all I needed.
