What are your thoughts on the name Dahlia with the nn Dolly?
I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.

    I don't think Lila and Dahlia go very well...but I do like the name Dahlia and the NN Dolly isn't awful.

    Oops. :)  Should have mentioned that the name isn't for me!  I think Dahlia is super-cute, but definitely agree I couldn't use it myself.

    (Plus I always read "Dahlia" as "Delilah" and Lilah and Delilah would be just wrong :-)

    I like Dahlia, but the nn Dolly reminds me too much of Dolly Parton. What about Lia as a nn instead?

    Love the name Dahlia, but hate the nn Dolly. Dahlia is such short name that I don't think it would have a nn.

    This. I've been asked if DD's nn is "Molly" a couple of times and I think it's really strange. So I put Dahlia/Dolly in the same camp. I know two babies named Dahlia and they go by Dahlia.

    Dahlia is sooo pretty.  Dolly isn't the end of the world as far as nn's go but it just makes me think either super-childish or Dolly Parton :D
