i had my galbladder removed about 7 years ago. the pain would start on my right side, right under my ribs and would sometimes go down into my right groin a little. towards the end, i would get sharp pains in my shoulder blades and even my back and would get terrible heart burn. it's much worse after eating...especially fatty foods.
I have a problem with my gallbladder. It is a terrible pain that I mostly get every time I eat under my right breast. You almost think it is something with your bra. It is a painful type of burning/ stabbing feeling that lasts a few hours after eating. I do not have gallstones...My gallbladder has trouble emptying when I am pregnant. I also had it with my daughter and it went away after giving birth to her.
It's almost like a radiating, pulsating pain that I always thought was terrible gas pains. It started out in my abdomen and then would spread to my shoulders and back. I had my gallbladder removed a couple of months ago, so I would call your OB tomorrow and ask if you can get an ultrasound of it to put your mind at ease.

Gallbladder issues are very common in pregnancy.
