I answered the poll first so I guess I should do an intro post. I get a little wordy at times.

 

I was born in Washington State 42 years ago. Most of my life was spent in Northern California. I have five sisters and two brothers. Cats are my preferred pets though we also have sugar gliders at this time. My favorite colours are blue and silver grey. I majored in Sociology but have always hated school so never finished all of my classes. I tend to be unpredictable and unexpected at times. I don?t fit into preconceived boxes.

 

I?m an Upstate New York transplant, I arrived here three years ago this last October. I was only here six weeks when my two year old was conceived. Not exactly planned but not exactly unplanned either.

 

I am part of a non-traditional household in just about every sense of the word and it works for me. We consider four lovely children to be part of our family even though only two have any of us for actual parents. They are a boy at 23, a girl at 21, a boy at 18, and a girl at 2. The age gap seems a little daunting at times though that is part of the reason we are still looking for one more. Other reasons vary on who is asked.

 

I am a stay at home mom. My West Coast background has me convinced that most of this state is stark raving mad. There are places in the US that are much worse and here with my family is where I want to be anyway.

 

While actively pagan and involved in a local circle, that is just about the only place I am met many people. I have never been very good at starting to meet new people but usually do just fine after I find a place to call home. I am hoping to make at least one local sci-fi fantasy convention this year but AlbaCon is about 3 weeks after the baby is due so I don?t know.

 

I have many varied interests but I won?t go into this here.

 

Here is my current pregnancy story : Okay, I was fairly certain that AF was going to arrive at any time. The symptoms seemed more like those than anything else. The OH and my older daughter were pretty sure that I was wrong.

My cycles have never been normal and go from around 27-33 days right now. Monday was day 35 and I tested. I was quite surprised when the test didn't take any time to show positive!

Unfortunately, I also started morning sickness the same day as well. You win some, you lose some.

It took 13 months from first try (with mc) to now but here we are!!
