An awesome clothes trading website!!

I haven't read all of the details about the site/how to trade yet, but it looks like a great place to get children's clothes at a great price. It's called thredup.com where they advertise the clothes by size and you pay for shipping/small fee and get a box of clothes. I don't know how you know exactly what you're getting isn't junk, but I think it's worth checking out! 

ETA: The friend of mine that told me about this is going to start foster parenting soon so she thought she would pass this along to me, now I'm passing it along!

I took a look at the site this week and it looks fun! For every box that you find that you want, you pack up a box of your old clothing and send it off to someone else. If it were just that, an even trade, it would be so cool. However, I just can't fathom spending $5 PLUS $11 shipping to get a mystery box of clothes. I'd rather just shop the local consignment stores where I can see what I'm getting. KWIM?

I signed up for the website but haven't used it. The only thing I would offer to trade would be the millions of onesies, socks, and the few carters, jumping bean, osh kosh clothes. I wouldn't offer any of her good clothes for trade because there's no guarantee what you'll get in return. I'm either going to consign it at a high end kids consignment boutique or hold on to it for a little while.
