Do you bleed less with a csection? I hear people talk about crazy amounts of blood and I dont remember more then a heavy period. Mind you I was on magnesium the first 24 hours after delivery so a nurse changed my pad because I literally could barely function.

I was on mag for both my c-sections so I am not sure if that has a lot to do with it. With my son I didn't bleed much post delivery. With my daughter I had never seen clots that big. I think it's different for each delivery. I'm also not sure if they had trouble getting the placenta out with Emma, that might have had something to do with my heavy bleeding after surgery.

my best friend had 3 kids naturally and 1 by c-section. she said that she bled way more and longer with teh c-section than any of the 3 kids
