What is it about being a mother that makes you feel lucky?
I know pregnancy is a long road. For some it's been longer than others. What about this experience in your life makes you realize how lucky you are?
I was reading a post from Tiffany (further down the page) about realizing this will be the last pregnancy. It's pretty evident to me, this is my last pregnancy, the last time I will feel a LO move inside me, feeling tiny kicks and flutters and this is the closing of a chapter in my life. What will I take away from this? What will I remember 30 or 40 years down the road when I remember my pregnancies?
For me, as a mother I know how lucky I am. I feel lucky to have the closer emotional bond with my children because I carried them. That's something DH can't know firsthand.
What do you consider yourself lucky for?
Re: As a mother I am lucky for...
coffee? sorry just kidding
I am currently thankful because I quit my job last month so it has been nothing but me and DD for a month and I am treasuring the time since it wont happen again for a long time if ever.
