How would you spell it for a girl. Usually I think Brynn....but I am starting to wonder what the second n is for. I am a teacher and things like that bother me.....

Same here! Two of my friends recently names their girls Brynn and both have the double n. They are Brynn Elizabeth and Brynn Caroline if you need ideas for middle names.

That is my middle name I love it and gets lots of compliments on it, mine is actually spelled Brynne, which I think looks really nice. Between your two choices I would definitely go with Brynn, Bryn looks unfinished to me.

One is the masculine spelling and one is the feminine. Brynn is the feminine, so I suppose you could say the second N is to determine which sex the name is attached to without having the person in front of you.
