Infant CPR classes

Hello,

I am new to all things baby and now 7 months along. My OBGYN highly suggested taking an infant CPR class. Classes I have found our $110 for both my husband and I which is more than we can afford now, i got laid off work. 

Any suggestions you could offer would be great! Thank you:)

This is a very good idea.  Perhaps you can try community colleges, community centers or local Fire Departments in your area.  Those tend to be much cheaper then personalize CPR dedicate classes.

Let us know if you find any classes which are reasonably priced.

If you have Kaiser, they offer classes for pretty cheap.  Maybe try with your insurance and see if they offer any classes.

Try calling the Red Cross.  They offer the same classes and sometimes can offer them on a sliding scale based upon ability to pay.  Also, check with the hospital you are planning to deliver at to see if they can do the same thing or offer a payment plan that fits into your budget.

Maybe call around to various hospitals and see what they charge? Good luck and congrats on the baby. I was laid off at 7 mos pg and while it was stressful at the time, it ended up being the best thing that ever could have happened. Try to enjoy the end of your pregnancy!

Thanks so much for all of your advice. I called my cousin who is a fire fighter and he told me about a local cpr class for only $36! I'm so excited. Here's the web site in case anyone is also looking for a class too:
