Hey girls! Got back from my trip to Arkansas to visit the ILs! It was not quite as stressful as I'd thought it would be.
DH kinda irritated me because he gets a 'tobacco pass' when we're around his family. He quit smoking (a few years ago), but they almost all do(outside) so it's really really hard for him to not smoke when we are around them... so we've made a deal that he gets to smoke when we are with his in-laws, but that's it. So, he kept just wandering outside with them, and would just leave Kaygan where she was, and just assume that I was keeping an eye on her (even when I was baking up a storm for his FILs retirement party). So that irritated me.
But, otherwise, he did pretty good with her. Even took her from 5am to 6am one morning and went to the front living room with her so I could keep sleeping.
Kaygan had alot of fun crawling from the front living room to the back living room while chasing our great niece and nephews (though she never could catch them!) The day of FILs retirement party went well, lots of yummy food. I got a few dirty looks for being so pg and having such a young DD (this is my first ever experience with a 'bad' reaction). So that kinda bugged me. And of course, the woman who was the snootiest to me was FILs cousin, and found out I'm a pro photog and asked me to take family portraits of everyone in the formal living room (yes, this house had 3 living rooms)... so I took family pics for like, an hour. Not that it's really a long time for family pics, but, it was supposed to be a party!
Sunday morning before we left Kaygan got her first ever runny nose, and also had a fever. We got home around 9pm, put her to bed. I started to throw up around 1am and did so every 30-60 mins until noon on Monday. Kaygan also threw up sometime during the night, not sure when, but she slept until 11AM. She was ok Monday during the day, so my mom took her since I was unable to move, but Monday night she threw up again in her crib. She was fine today, just a bit crabby, but I've found the culprit for her troubles... first molar is showing under the skin.
Whew! So, that's whats been going on over the past week!
