High results for glucose screening...

I just heard from my doctor's office that my glucose screening came back high. 

I was 135 and the cut off is 130.  My girlfriend (uses a different doctor) was 136 and they didn't make her go back for the 2nd screening.  I guess I'm just frustrated...

Did anyone else have a high number and if so, what was your result in the end?

Hmmm - my OB (high risk) cutoff was 139. My number for the 1 hour was 145. i took and passed the 3 hour GD test with flying colors. Your number is lower than mine so I think you will be fine.

Well, I failed my 1 hour with DD#1 with like a 170 and still passed the three hour.  I did end up having GD during the last month of pregnancy though.  I failed the 1 hour this time too but didn't even ask how bad it was...  Since you barely failed, I would figure you have a good chance of passing the three hour.  Good Luck!

My OB uses 139, and my one hour score was 151.  Fingers crossed I pass the 3 hr tomorrow morning!!

My OB uses 139... I had a 143. My three hour had one elevated level (the one after I drank the drink), but I had a tough time taking the three hour (vomiting issues).

Most places don't consider you to have GD unless you have two elevated scores. And supposedly the most important is the fasting score. I had one elevated score (after drinking the drink) and the rest were all low.

My ob's cut off it 135...I scored a 142 last time and took the 3 hour test.  I passed that.  This time I scored 178 (yikes) and will go in tomorrow for the 3 hour.
