Just wanted to see how all of you ladies are doing!  I know I just posted something the other day, but I had to share my latest.

I finished the book, and DH saw all of my emotions through it. I also told him about some of the sex parts in it (and might have exaggerated some). So as soon as I finished and put my Nook down, he snatched it up. I think I just lost my Nook for awhile.

I can't wait to discuss it!!

    i'm on chapter 7.. working on it! i dont normally read a lot but i've been wanting to so it's a transition.. but i do like the book so far!

    I purchased it a long time ago and maybe read the first page on my Kindle. I will finish it by the time we meet though.

    The whole month of January we are reading Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. We will be discussing it on January 30th at 9pm EST. If you are a fast reader, you still have time to pick it up and begin reading!

    I've been reading it at work on my lunch break and I'm hooked, only a 1/4 of the way through it so far, but really enjoying it.

    I haven't gotten through it yet but I love it, it's so interesting and also kind of sad. Makes me feel bad for the elderly people in my life, particularly my 100 (and 1/2) year old great aunt who lives in a nursing home. She can't see, hear, or anything but she says she wants to live to 106, so I guess she isn't as upset about old age as the narrator of the book. I was telling DH how reading it makes me want to die at a reasonable age, not live too long to get to that point.

    Anyway I do like the book, good choice. Hope I'm around for the official discussion.

    Oooh, you have a nook too? I looooooove mine. I'd love to jump on this Book Club thing on the next go around. I will keep an eye out for posts!

    I just started last night - I think I'm about 4 chapters in.  So far I really like it!
    Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

    Really?? Someone was just saying that they had it on there and it was only $5! How strange.
