2nd attempt at 3D/4D u/s

Anybody want to throw me some advise to try to get LO to cooperate this time?

I was thinking about doing some jumping jacks, or maybe asking the u/s tech if H and I could make sex real quick before she tries to take the photos. 

Perhaps I will just get all jacked up on mountain dew right before we go in... that ought to do the trick, right?

Sarcasm aside, I really hope he decides to show us his face tomorrow.  I am glad they are willing to give us our money back if he doesn't, but I still want to get a good look at the little guy.

My tech recommended drinking some orange juice or eating a cookie before the appt.

For our 3D u/s it was best taht she wasn't moving in order to get any clear shots of her face.  For a 2D or the 4D videos you might want them to be more active so you can catch them moving around.  I'd say that's tricky to get both out of one u/s, but drink something sweet before hand or cold water.

Katie had her hands in front of her face at first and the tech had me roll to my side and cough a couple times.  That worked.

when we had ours done I was told to drink some caffeine and finishing eating anything about an hour before the appointment. But she was really good about moving me into different positions to get the baby to cooperate. Good luck!

Basically, just good luck.

 I did it all and nothing worked (cold OJ, cookie, jumping jacks, bathroom break, etc) and he wanted to stay facing my back (which is fine for getting ready for birth, but not so much for getting an image!).   He moved...just didn't show his face to us.
