I see that some of you made your own wedding cakes. Great jobs!  I want to make a tiered one year anniversary cake for my husband this Friday.  What is your recipe?

If you are wanting just a plain cake, I swear buy Aldi's cake mixes.  I know that doesn't sound all fancy, but they have the best white cake I have ever tasted!  You can always make a fancy filling to put between the layers.
