I tried once a week to get her to take formula from a sippy.  She always refused, so I kept buying different types of cups thinking "this one is shaped more like a bottle" and was still unsuccessful.  

After being out of school for a week, I sent a First Years take and toss sippy (which we never use at home) to school and just asked them to try.  She took right to them and hasn't had a bottle since - not even at night!  And we're already on a half formula and half whole milk mix.  She's always a tough transition, but this went so well!!

Yay! How funny... for some reason those Take and Toss sippys are the only ones Kate shows any interest in, too!

At almost 2 1/2 those take n' toss are still the only ones that Maddie will drink milk out of. Crazy!

It's weird because she loves her nuby's for water and I thought the silicone spout would translate to a bottle nipple but it was opposite.

my boys refuse to drink milk out of anything but their bottles.  They love drinking water out of sippies, but once I put milk in it, they just keep spitting it out.

 Congrats to you!  I hate washing bottles!

Although I hate the fact that I have to work and send her to daycare - they are pretty much responsible for most of her transitions.  She sees the other kids do it there and she can't get away with what she can at home.

Good for Maya!  Violet uses those same sippies for water or juice but will not drink milk from them...same as Dinnertime's boys I guess..
