What are your thoughts on this name?

So while watching the Golden Globes, I was doing some Wiki'ing of Katey Sagal and she had a daughter she named Esme Louise. It really struck me as being different, and just sounds so pretty (IMO).

Thoughts?

I think Esme Louise is beautiful!! Unfortunately thanks to Twilight, Esme will gain popularity over the next few years.

It's okay, just NMS. Esme just makes me think of Twilight.

I think it's really pretty-- totally reminds me of Twilight too. Don't think I had ever heard of the name prior to reading the books.

I don't either, but I came across the name since I heard something online about that atrocious name what'sherface gives her baby and that the vampire gave her a c-section with his fangs or something so I had to check because I didn't believe either one could be true.

The thing about the "Twilight Names" is that though they are somewhat more popular BECAUSE of the books, they were already gaining popularity. They were names that were trending already. The author admits that she picked names she wanted to use for her own children (she has three boys and named Bella the name for the daughter she never had).

Oh, wow! She named her daughter beautifully. I'm generally not a big fan of Esme as it sounds so similar to Asthma... but it's not half bad and I really appreciate classic combos!
