TTC After a Loss

I need a good book to read. Any suggestions?

I just finished the last book of the twilight saga. this type of fiction i'm not usually into, but with all the hype i had to see what everyone was talking about.

I like love stories, drama, mysteries. I read a couple Jodi Picoult books. I'm not really into sci-fi.

Have you read anything good lately? I'm looking for something you just couldn't put down.  TIA.

  • Hm.. I'm no help since you don't like the SciFi, not that I am completely into it either, but I am flying through the True Blood books.  They are really good. There are 10 of them...so, I like how the story keeps going.  But, that may be of no help to you.  ;)

  • I liked the True Blood books too--really easy reads.

i also am big into historical fiction, and read a lot of phillipa gregory (the other boeyln girl, and other books about king henry's wives, or michelle moran (about cleopatra and neferiti).

hope you find something good to read!

  • I just finished The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas today.  The Help is a great one.  Water for Elephants is an amazing book (Isn't this the book club book this month?).

ETA: Here is a link from MM with a post full of great book suggestions.  It really added to my reading list and opened up some new books for me.

  • As PPs said, the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) books are great. I'm on the last one. I also heard The Help was really good, but I haven't read it.
