Seriously, September Board???

OK, I know we post about these irritants a lot, but I was particularly irritated this morning because 1) I thought it would be smart to test 8DPO and of course it was negative, and 2) I continue to lurk on pg boards which always puts me in a bad mood and 3) I spent last night holding my 5 month old nephew. So I am cranky.

So there I was lurking on Sept 2011 and some lucky mommy decides to post about how HORRIBLE it will be to be so very pregnant in the heat of the summer. And of course there were endless posts in agreement about the horror of it all. I wanted to reach through the computer and throttle them all. Come on, ladies. You're barely one month pregnant, and so lucky and blessed to be in that position! Ah, to be so innocent and happy.

Note: The lovely Shanna chimed in with her positive appreciation for being pregnant at any time. That was refreshing!

I read that one. I don't care what the weather is like when I get pregnant, I'll just be happy to actually be pregnant!!

First I hope in a few days you get your BFP and a healthy baby.  I think we are all guilty of lurking on pg boards.  In a weird way it gives me hope, but posts like the one you came across pisses me off.  I want to slap them all.  Hope your weekend gets better.

That kind of thing irriates to me no end now but if I am being honest before I experienced my losses and back when I actually thought I had control of these things I used to actually think things like that. Makes me hate myself alittle bit, like it's some sort of punishment for being so selfish. I would walk through fire at this point to have a healthy baby....

No kidding! If that is the worst thing they have to go through while pregnant, they are blessed! I'd be glad to be pg on the equator at this point!

Oh this drives me crazy!! Some couples are very lucky to be able to time their pregnancies.  Many, many are not.  I just wish these women had some appreciation for how lucky they are to be pregnant.  Who cares when you are due, there are pluses and minuses to any time of the year! 

Be appreciative of what you have.....even the little things.

 I'm sorry you had to read those posts, they are sooo heartbreaking and frustrating.  Pregnancy and children are such a gift, I wish more people would realize this.  Hugs to you!! We all have your back.

Like the girl who was like, "ZOMG, I hope I'm KU with twins b/c my mom is a twin, my cousins are twins, and my brother's uncle's sister is a twin!!!im going to be sooo excited if I'm having twins!!" To which I responded....well, I hope you are excited if you only have 1 in there.  ::side eye::

I read that one, too. Glad you're over there to give them the side eye (but moreso because you're expecting!!!)

Argh!  That makes me bonkers.  I was pg through the summer and people kept telling me "Oh you poor thing - you must be suffereing in this heat..."  I just told them - "That's why God invented AC."  It wasn't a big deal and I was happy to be pg.  I hope I get to do it again.  Thank goodness for Shanna!
