If by "confirm with brand/digital" you mean "drop $40/cycle to obsess when ICs don't come up with the answer I want" then yes, that is what I do.

Dollar store tests are crap.. at least for me. I am still getting a faint faint line but 3 digitals and 2 FR later I have lines i can see.

Same here. My last bfp was on ic and $tree and I got a really faint line. Frer and digital both confirmed + I never got the ic or $tree to get dark even at 5w5d!

Typically I buy them from the dollar store and confirm with a digital.  But, at one point a friend's friend gave me some clear blue easy line tests (I have bought them b/f myself too) so I have been using those up.  I only have one left and one digi and no $ store ones at the moment, so I need to go out and buy some (grr...) b/c I have to confirm O so they will know when I should start lupron this cycle.

I've been buying brand names but with coupons! I try and remember the each time.

I've tried 99 cents store cheapies and they seem to work well enough...

I actually like the "equate" brand from walmart. If I get a + I always confirm with a digital because I'm OCD and like to see that "pregnant" in the window!

I also like the Equate ones from Walmart, they are much cheaper than FRERs, but just as good I think. 

I have never POADigital.  I figure a line is a line, why waste $, especially if you are going for betas.  I think I'm in the minority here though.

My old plan was ICs, confirm sneaky lines w/ digital. I have 3 ics left so it'll probably wind up being the same should I miraculously get ku first cycle... after that I'm not sure what to do. I like the idea of using ICs alone but I have a hard time believing those foolish lines cause damnit... they're too faint! Which is sad cause yeah... before my job got switched I was a lab analyst but yeah, most of the tests I ran were #'s so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad. I need to see "pregnant" to think its for real. So pathetic.

Especially since I'll be getting betas no matter what.
