I don't think the antibiotics are working:-( is that really possible? We're running out of options, no? DD is horrible tonight. I can tell she doesn't feel good. Her eye is getting Nick again and she's a little warm. She's generally sad and clingy and I could only get her to eat puffs for dinner. I just gave her tylenol. And she threw up before dinner-I believe it was her lunch. :-( can I do anything else? What about her poor ear?

What antibiotic is she on now?
Yes... You are kinda running out of options in terms of oral antibiotics that you haven't tried and/or she is not allergic to...
It might be time to see an ENT and get their opinion. Is it just the one ear or both? Do you need a referral with your insurance?
What about any signs/symptoms of allergies? Could that be the driving force behind all of this? Anyone in the family with bad allergies? Might be worth a trial of something like Zyrtec to see if that helps to dry up the snot and post-nasal drip that usually leads to an ear infection?
There are numbing ear drops that might help in the short term... Aualgan is technically available OTC, but I'm not sure how easy it is to find. You could ask a pharmacist.
I think Motrin works a little better because of the anti-inflammatory component.

Yeah... Clindamycin is what I would have tried as well
I would definitely call about ENT at this point. I'm sorry!
In the meantime just give her lots of fluids, Motrin. Maybe try to find those ear drops.
GL and HUGS. Sorry she is feeling so bad
