because I know I am
My sweet little boy is only 10 weeks old and do you know what I have been doing for the past half hour while he naps? Looking at private schools! Not just elementary schools (which is still 4 years off) but high schools (and yes my top pick for high schools is the all boys Christian school which is top rated in academics and athletics)!
DH is in the top running for a new job within his company which would be a significant pay raise and we could probably afford to send Jack to one of the best schools. I know I have a lot of time, but I was already looking.
I am crazy, take the key board away from me.

Lol!! Yeah, you are maybe a little crazy but then again, so am I. DS wasn't even born and I was already looking into how much private schools in our area cost and wondering if I could sneak into a parent information night without being noticed.
But you know, if your DH gets this job, it could be a good idea to start saving money now, so it would be important to know how much you'll need! So there you go, you're just being smart about it!
I like how you can justify my nuttyness.
Funny? Yes, but I don't think you're crazy. I think it's wonderful you're looking that far ahead and excited for him to go to school.

Labor Buddy to Megjr8
I am currently sitting staring at my phone waiting to hear from my top pick Preschool for DS #1....they had their lottery today and are supposed to be calling us to let us know! I'm so nervous!
So I do get it...but I also admit that I have been researching the school districts (and private schools) down here in DC. If we stay, we'll likely buy a house in the next few years and I want to either find an area with good schools or budget in the cost of Private School.
So I might be a bit crazy too.
