FF Rookie -- confused

So confused...this is my first month charting with FF.  CD1 was on 12/25.  So why is FF tellling me my test date for this month is 1/29?!?!?!?  That would make my cycle 36 days and 7 days after a missed period.  Thoughts?

FF gives you a 'Test' date at the latest possible time,(because they want to discourage you from testing too early and being bummed with a negative I guess)

When you made your settings, what did you put in as your longest cycle length?? I know that I started with 35 days, so it took several months for FF to bring my test date back down to my normal 28 day cycle. I guess I had to "prove" that my cycles weren't always 35 days. Does that make sense?

For your first few cycles FF suggests a test date of 18dpo.  After it gets used to your LP length it will start suggesting a date that is the day after AF is due.
