How's the baby?

Wow it's amazing how you forget that there are some people that you only talk to a couple of times a yar and they just don't keep up with things. I planned a surprise party for my DH tonight, it's his 30th. So I invited one of his good friends, but he moved over an hour away so he isn't quite in the loop of things anymore. Well he sent me a message this morning asking how the baby is doing Crying I completely just broke down in tears trying to type back that I went into preterm labor and delivered her too early for her to survive.

Why do I have to type this?! It's just not fair I should be telling him how cute she is and that she's doing really good and keeping us up at night. Crying I'm totally heartbroken right now. I do my best to not let it take me over and to just stay busy working but I miss my little Nola Sophia.

I'm so sorry! Hang in there. I'm slowly learning that its OK to cry a lot and sometimes staying busy and avoiding emotions isn't the best way for me to deal with the hurt and anger. I completely agree with you....it's not fair period. One day at a time...one step at a time. FWIW, I'm sure your friend is feeling horrible right now for asking and not knowing the story..{HUGS}

What an awful message to receive. So sorry you had to face that.

The day of my m/c I remember thinking how odd it was to see the news on TV and not be on it. It was such a tragic event for us, but not for the rest of the country. Everyone else went about their daily business, unaware of our pain. The world kept turning. It didn't seem right.

Oh hun I am so sorry for you! I hope you get your take home baby very soon! It will never replace Nola Sophia but at least you can cuddle your future LO and think of her! BIG HUGS

::hugs:: i'm so sorry. i've been putting off going to the bank since ella passed away and finally went this week. the lady at the bank knows DH and knows i was very pg when i was last in. she asked me when i had the baby. i said sept and then paused and told her she passed away. she was SO very nice about it but i was heartbroken to have to say it. Crying
