update on me

hey girls!

So i am still in the hospital.  likely have h1n1 which had me on a ventilator and affected my liver and platelets etc.  i am finally on room air.  i have been in hosp since jan 1 and am so skinny and weak and need phys therapy.  hoping soon to move to the phys therapy ward for a few days.   my bldwk is all better now.

apparently h1n1 is the worse for people my age and not as bad for elderly or young.  I am getting stronger evryday and cant wait to be back to normal.  its sooo boring and it sucks being so dependent on everyone.

plus i miss my pups so much this is the longest i've been away.  my friend found a therapy dog to come visit me and i'm gonna see if they'll let my penny visit since she did pass her k9 good citizen test.

on a side note- mh is absolutelly amazing.  i knew he was but even the nurses all comment on how supportive he is.  he's gotta be exhausted too.

I can't believe how much you've been through these past few weeks, it's crazy how you go from feeling a little flu-like to being in the hospital for 2 weeks!  How scary.  I am so glad you are doing so much better now though.  Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you continue to recover well and that your PT goes well.  *giant hugs*  I hope you get to see your pups soon too!

Oh my goodness sweetie.  You have been through so much!!!!!  I hope that you are feeling back to normal really soon and that they let your dog come visit you (I can totally understand how hard that would be!).

O my goodness-you have been thru a lot since the new year! So happy you are getting better. And I love that you get to see a therapy dog. I think they are amazing. Thanks so much for posting an update-our thoughts are with you!
