Parenting after a Loss

Blah

Yeah I ate almost a whole container of chocolate frosting. I have yogurt and carrots and other healthy food in the fridge but what do I grab? Freaking chocolate frosting.

Oh and Jack decided to fight his nap. He cried for almost an hour and looked exhausted. He finally fell asleep in his swing.

C's been fighting his nap for almost two hours. I put him in his swing and he's still fussing. IF he falls asleep, he'll be hungry soon anyways... *bangs head on wall* it's been a rough day.

I'll gladly take that frosting from you, pass it over!

I am not for CIO, but being a little fussy is different. If he is fussing for a few minutes then I let him. He will either start crying and I will pick him up or he will fall asleep. I got him pretty much asleep in my arms and then put him down which woke him up. His poor little eyes were all red though because he was tired.
