So I just got a call with my Beta results from my 2 week f/u appt. The nurse said "I just wanted to call you with your Beta tests results"
Me, "Ok."
Nurse, "You are no longer pregnant."
I hung up. I was so stunned I wasn't sure how to respond. Gee, thanks. Like I didn't know that. How about giving me a number or stating you are at a zero. Stupid inconsiderate wench. I mean come on. You work for a OB/GYN office, how about some compassion or tact?

Really? WTF. I had a "steaming from ears" episode with my doctor's office a week after loss Logan. I called to make a f/u appointment for my incision. The girl went through the motions to make my appointment, but then proceeded to ask me questions about why. I explained c-section, stitches, yada yada. She said she was pulling up my chart...bla bla bla...then proceeded to say "When did you have the baby? How is he?" WFT MATE! You have my fvcking chart! And I KNOW my doctor charted everything about the baby as well b/c when I had the stitched removed (before he passed), she told me she was monitoring and keeping up with his charts. I wanted to punch the women through the phone!
Sorry you had this experience. *HUGS*!!! The outside world sucks...and even though the docs and nurses shouldn't be considered so outside b/c they're so intricately part of our pg and ttc process...they sometimes suck the worst!
Dx: MFI- 3% morph

wow, that is so insensitive.. you would think they would train the person making those kinds of calls to be more sensitive to the person they are talking too!

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

I am so sorry. I had some stupid/insensitive remarks from my OB's office too. People need to think before they talk. I called to cancel a future pre-natal appt and told the receptionist I had a m/c - she then asked when I'd like to reschedule! Really?!
I totally agree more compassion is needed, esp if your job is in the OB field! Again, so sorry ((HUGS)).
That is ridiculous!!! I remember with my 1st loss - my betas were ordered through my OB's office and I had to ask for my numbers, they didn't tell me. Sometimes the nurses (and doctors) can be so clueless. (((hugs)))
