How long to try again after a D and C??

I had a miscarriage in November and had a D and C, I got my period this past month in January. How long to wait to start trying again?? I have two other children but this was my first miscarriage so I'm not sure, i have heard mixed comments.

    I am very sorry for your loss.  I think you should call your OB and tell them your wishes about when you want to TTC, but you are right, there are very mixed recommendations out there.  The most common I have heard it to wait between 1-3 cycles.  I hope you get your answer soon.

    My OB recommended after 2 normal periods for me.

    My OB gave me the green light to TTC after my first cycle. But like a PP said, I'd call your own Dr. and get their recommendation since every pregnancy (and I'm assuming D&C) is different.

    My OB said 2-3 cycles at the time I miscarried.  Anxious to hear her advice next week....

     I've heard anywhere from right away to 3 cycles.  I think it depends on the doctor and your body.
