Couple of questions for you!
At what point in your cycle does your RE let you start provera?? My doc usually says if after 42 days (6 weeks), then he'll give me provera to jump start it. Just curious how long other RE's make you wait. (As you can see I'm really anxious to start my next AF!! I'm ready to get this show on the road! I'm ready for IVF#3 now!!)
Also, does provera keep you from starting if you actually did ovulate? I have been known to ovulate really late in my cycle. So my question is would I start AF before my last provera pill if I had already ovulated 2 weeks earlier? Or will it trick my body into waiting until last provera pill is taken regardless?
TIA!!!
Re: Provera ladies come in...
My RE has me wait until day 30. I do not have periods on my own at all without Provera. I'm not sure on your other question, because I don't ovulate on my own either! Sorry I'm not much help!
Good luck I hope you get to start cycling soon!
I started on cd34 for an anovulatory cycle, but I'm pretty regularly 28-29 days with ovulation. It was a particularly stressful cycle with a lot of travel and work, so taking Provera was an exception.
GL!
My RE has me wait until day 38. I don't have AF without Provera unless I ovulate. Last time I took it I started on day 7 of the Provera and other times up to 4 days after the 10 days. So I guess I'm not really any help
Good luck though!! Glad you're going to be cycling again soon!!
