So who else is in NY?

Just curious to see if anyone else is in NY with me.

Perhaps at some point we could get together for lunch?

I find that it's nice to have someone to talk to like on this board, but sometimes it's even nicer to be in their actual prescence.

My friends and family are supportive, but only one of them can truly understand what I'm going through in regards to IF and Adopting, and that's because unfortunately she is going through it herself....

    That is pretty far ... I used to go Upstate a lot to the Wallkill Area... is that near you?

    "Upstate" NY always cracks me up.  My parents started out in the Bronx, and when they moved to Putnam County, they thought it was "upstate."  Now they live an hour from the Canadian border.

    I went to school in Albany, and lived there and in Schenectady for 9 years.  I now live in NJ, 14 miles as the crow flies from NYC (an hour commute, though).

    Meli--I am just north of Saratoga Springs so no lol

    Capt--I agree on the "upstate" thing! I went to graduate school in Schenectady, but grew up in Amsterdam! Small world!
