Baby Room Renos

So we are planning to build our new house in the spring, however there's no way it will be ready to move into before LO arrives. Our current house is small, and at the moment our spare room is also the room I work on my nail clients (only for another month or two though.) I've been wanting to re-do the room for 3 years, finally happened last Saturday/Sunday. We are finding out what we're having on Monday but I wanted the neutral colors anyway because as soon as we move into the new house this one will be another rental for us.

My 2 colors I picked out, and the flooring

 

Room before: white walls, ugly wallpaper border, and blue/grey industrial rug ICK!

Border ripped out and walls washed, ready for paint. Rug ripped out too!

Floor done, walls dried, new lights put in, doors and window painted, baseboards put on done done done!! (end of day 2) First photo the yellow looks a little darker than it is due to lighting, others are more true to tone.

It's a small room but I'm really excited about how it turned out and will only have to be the Babys room until the new house is ready.

That looks really cute! Great job! We are in a temporary house right now, too, so I am making a nursery/guest bedroom (it's a pretty large room). And all I've done so far is buy the new bedding for the guest bed. I need to get on picking out paint colors! You are my inspiration! Once again, you did a great job!!
