f/u OB visit after mc

My apt today went great.  I so appreciate my OB.  I work with her at the hospital on the floor that I'm a nurse on, so she knows me as more than a patient.  When I spoke to her she was so awesome.  She asked me how I was doing and genuinely cared and understood that things are difficult sometimes.  She gave me the stats on m/c's but didn't present it in a way that suggested I should just be ok with everything.  She was definately encouraging and gave us the green light to try after I get AF if DH and I should want to.  Definately going to keep her.

Glad things went well

I'm anxious for my follow-up next week.  At the time of my m/c the doctor said to wait 2-3 cycles to TTC.  I'm really hoping they give me the green light.   Through my experience we've realized we NEED a baby, we're ready

That's great news!  I am glad you and your OB have a good relationship, you are definitely one of the lucky ones from what I can tell!  (Never got to meet my OB!, isn't that crazy!?)  I hope you get your AF soon if that's what you are hoping for too.  Still, I am sorry for you loss and you deserve a prayer or two from me.  (((Hugs)))

I have found the hardest part of the f/u to be sitting in the room waiting for the doctor all alone and hearing all the other ultrasounds in the rooms around you. When I went I heard one girl and her whole family, in one room over, screaming with joy because they found out it was a boy and I, unfortunately, got to watch them all dance out of the office in total bliss after my appointment was finished. Also, as I was waiting for the doctor, I heard two different women hearing their child's heartbeat in the rooms around me. That was the hardest part of the f/u, not the doctor, or his statistics, but all of the other women that are still pregnant and happy around you.

I'm glad you had a good f/u appointment. Like a PP, It's good to see that there are good doctors out there.
