So I only just recently started the process to adopt from foster care... I've done a lot of reading and am waiting for the next orientation session to be held so I can attend and go even further into the process...
And yet I can't get my brain off of the idea of getting to purchase baby staples , mainly a crib, car seat stroller and high chair...
It wasn't a snow day today but it is definitely slow here at work and I used my morning to price compare items I picked out between 3 different retailers... (Target is the winner!)
When I was TTC I went through the same obsession... I guess I didn't kick the habit as well I thought !
Trying to give myself a pep talk not to put the cart before the horse
Re: Totally fantasizing.. should probably come down soon
Girl, I'm pretty sure that's natural thinking! I saw "bookmark" that way you have it saved and then when the time comes, you're done!
Thanks Ladies ! I'd hoped I wasn't too far gone lol
Dr. L -That's a good reference for a good time to start actually buying. Because after homestudy, who knows when placement could happen! Right?
Come on baby- I actually wrote each item down with the prices at each store AND calculated the tax. But bookmarking would definitely save time when it's time to buy!
Good point C.S, that makes a lot of sense.
My plan is to start with an infant but I could widen the age range in the future for older children.
