WDYT: Nursery Question (PsIP)

Currently the nursery is a playroom. Here is what it looks like now (excuse the quality, they are taken from our MLS listing):

 

This is the bedding we used w/#1 & #2 (Kidsline Camelot):

I have to admit, after seeing it everyday for 5 years, I'm kind of over it. So, I was thinking of switching to the Haley bedding from Potter Barn. I'd only buy the sheets and skirt -- not the entire set. My ? is, do you think it will go with the room as-is? H REFUSES to re-paint... it took SO long to do those stupid stripes, lol. So how would it look?

It's hard to see in the picture, but some of the birds are light purple.

My other option is to get a pink or lavender crib skirt and just use the Hayley sheets. I don't know what to do!

What about just painting below the chair rail? You could do it the same pink as above or a coordinating color. It would not take very long to do just that. I do like to PB bedding and prefer it over the existing bedding.

I agree. There's enough pink in the bedding to go with the walls...and there's very little purple.  It's not a perfect match, but by no means will it look awful, imo.

I know how annoying stripes are to paint. So your hard work doesn't go completely to waste, how about you change the color of the solid paint to a lavender color?

I think it will look really cute! There is enough pink and touches of purple in the bedding, that it will be picked up by the colors on the walls.

I agree with adding touches of more greens. The Haley bedding looks real cute!

What if you only paint the purple stripe sgreen? Then you wont be painting the whole room, just a few stripes, and it will give the room an update. Otherwise  I think the bedding will still go with the room as it is.

I think it goes as is, but I'm not a super matchy matchy person.  I think as long as it coordinates and doesn't clash then it matches - or can be made to match with accessories.

I think it matches as is, but could definitely see bringing in some more green accents as well.
