Just got my first "stranger comment"

I must look pregnant now.  A co-worker from another team (who I haven't told about the pregnancy) just stopped by and said: "I notice you are looking a little "fuller"...  are you expecting?"  haha.

Kind of a daring move on her part, but I like that it's noticable now!

Wow! It was daring, but I am glad she was right in this case! Congrats on showing! I am showing now (depending on what I wear) and it is fun to see my co-workers stare at my belly without asking, but wondering...heehee

Thats certainly daring on her part!! I haven't had any stranger comments yet! I did once though when I WASNT pregnant. The mail man that picks up the mail at my work asked if I was expecting. I was so upset that I NEVER wore the dress I had on again...I also joined a gym the next week. That was probably 2 1/2 years ago and I'm still obviously traumatized. Hah

Haha!!! I love it! "Fuller". I had mine as well, but from a friend we haven't seen in months who didn't know about the pregnancy. He asked me why I couldn't drink, and I'm like oh, you didn't know? We're pregnant. And he goes, oh I thought you just put on weight. Which I think is hilarious because I'm only 120 lbs at 5'3 and only my belly is bulging.

A coworker gave me a really weird look to me on monday and stopped over about 20 min later and said congrats. I asked her if someone told her and she said, um no, but you can totally tell that is a baby bump

"Fuller" is better than what I got! I had to take off of my second job for about 2 months becuase i have morning sickness so bad. Went back for the first day this weekend and I was asked if I was off getting a boob job!

I caught a client staring the other day. I decided to tell her because I knew she was wondering. As soon as I told her she said "I thought so but didn't want to say anything" .lol

It wasn't so bad, she didn't fire me on the spot. She acted happy for me but she is a sneaky sociopath so we will see What happens. I'm still not making any announcements because when people find out they either touch me, give annoying advice or treat me like I'm disabled so ill just confirm as people ask. Thanks for asking

That happened to me last week. I was visiting someone in a hospital, and the nurse asked if I was expecting. I was so excited that I look pregnant to other people, and not like I have a beer belly!

This is a funny thread. While all my bosses know and have know for SOME time, the employees don't. I'm not one who talks about my personal life really at all at work so it hasn't come up. My GM accidentally told one of the girls yesterday mentioning that our boss was coming into town to do interviews for while I'm gone and she totally freaked. He stuttered for a minute and was like, "so, I guess you didn't hear she is pregnant?" The one girl who guessed WEEKS ago just got back from maternity leave so her senses are kinda honed in on that I think. I admitted it when asked but I'm not going to respond to these dumb sideways comments. IE: I mentioned it was nice that i had a prescription so I didn't feel like vomiting every time I smelled garlic and she was like, "Yeah, that doesn't sound normal." And I was like, "Yeah, it probably isn't. funny they just hand out a prescription without checking to see if there is anything else going on..." 

I'm at the point where I've gained ten pounds and my pants are two sizes bigger and getting awfully tight. I figure they will start catching on any day now because I feel like I'm huge, lol.  but... teenagers can be dense. So I just keep doing my job and I have to start outing myself a little more obviously because the rumors will fly after manager interviews today.

No stranger comments for me yet!  So far I've noticed several of my patients giving the midsection a once (sometimes twice, lol) over--  but I don't tell them and put them out of their misery just because it makes me laugh on the inside too much.  I'm dying to see who will be the first person to sack up and ask.  lol.
