Oh the innocence...

A new facebook status from my 13 year old cousin today...

"just went to the eye doctor and some how got and infection in my eye and know have to wear glasses and wear no makeup for over the next week or soo.....my life sucks right now....."

Haha - wow...if that was the biggest thing we all had to complain about...  Just read that and thought of you ladies!

TTC Since 2/09... BFP 12/26/09 - Missed miscarriage (6 weeks), D&C 1/28/10, BFP 4/23/10 - Miscarriage (18 wks 4 days) due to Turner's Syndrome, Delivered Lyla Ann on 7/29/10, BFP 12/10/10 - Natural miscarriage (5 weeks 6 days) 12/23/10, BFP 2/2/11 - EDD: 10/15/11 - Stick baby stick!!

    o my gosh i just deleted soooo many things on my profile that were stupid!

    I almost choked when I read it.

    I really wish that was my biggest worry in life! If I could go back to my teenage self, I'd let "me" know that life only gets harder so I need to toughen up.

    Oh to be young and innocence. I just had this convo with my DH about wanting to go to high school, where we met, and go back to worrying about who kissed who and what movie we were going to see at the movies. I just laugh when my niece and nephews post those types of statuses on FB.

    It's kind of comical yet kind of endearing in a way.  That actually makes me wonder if 80 and 90 year olds feel the same thing about some of the life struggles we're face at our (general) age, since unfortunately it seems like life only throws you more challenges as you get older.  Hmm.....

    Well, good for her that the worst things he has to deal with is being makeup-free for a week (which at her age doesn't seem outlandish anyway).
