POLL: when your DH is sick

When your DH is sick, is he a mess?  You know, any of the following stuff.. mopey, miserable.. basically unable to function.. you know, like another child to take care of?

I hear this so often.  Sure enough, that's how my husband usually is.  If I'm sick, I'm home alone all day with 2 kids and preparing dinner.  When he's sick, he is in bed and we just have to order Chinese food :P

no- he's not bad... he'll talk about what's wrong with him the whole day- but he'll still do things- too much sometimes  - and rarely will spend time in bed. He's got crazy energy though. I'm probably much worse when i'm sick

oh, that is a EVERY day event.  My back hurts, my feet hurt, I'm tired, etc...  BUT if I complaing about any of the above he's all over me like a cheap suit.

This exactly! DH had a stomach virus last week and seriously was acting like he was gonna die. It was ridiculous.

DH reverts to childhood and would prefer to have a bell to ring me with. Unfortunately that's what his doting mother did for him when he was sick growing up. You would think he has the bubonic plague when he gets a cold. It's pathetic.

This exactly. Over the holidays, both my dh and I had the same cold. However he slept for 3 days and never once helped with the baby. But when i got it, i still had to do everything, even caring for the baby.  

 What is funny is that he is still milking this cold we had.

DH is actually pretty good when he is sick.  He had a cold this week, and still helped out around the house with all the normal stuff he does, plus some extras that we needed to do.  Definitely can't complain!
