Cloth Diapering

**kissntell**

Just read that you learned about Burts Bees not being CD safe the hard way...I'm in the same boat.  Just finishing up stripping my diapers for the first time.

How did you strip your diapers to get rid of it?  I have a feeling the strip I just did may not cut it.

Thanks!

Re: **kissntell**

  • I scrubbed with a toothbrush and some blue Dawn and threw them in the wash.  That got most of it out.  There are some stains still, but they don't hold odors and don't repell, so I'm not too concerned.  For what its worth, it was in my Happy Heinys with fleece insides.  It might be worse in something with suedecloth, like BGs.  I think they tend to repell more than fleece.  Hope you get yours out! • I have BGs.  Sad  Haven't tried any of the ones I just stripped but they still feel a little residue-y.

    Thanks for the advice!
