My MIL is driving me crazy! Vent...

Why does she have to be so rude, controlling and demanding that everyone do everything her way?!  We are going to the Bahamas in a couple of months so I posted on FB the other day that I'm excited to be back in the Bahamas, she then sends me and DH an email saying that we will now get our house broken into because of me?!  For 1 I don't befriend a million people on there for 2 we have insurance for 3 it's a couple of months away is someone seriously going to count down the days now?  I know it seems like I'm being dramatic but trust me this is the straw that broke the camels back.  Right before I went into preterm labor with Nola she got into an argument with me about my decision not to baptise her, she went on to say that my baby will go to hell if she dies etc...very hurtful ignorant things and I did my best to be polite and blow it off and tell her well you're entitled to your opinion.  However that whole thing caused me a tremendous amount of stress and I went into labor and lost her 2 weeks later, she still has yet to apologize to me for that so now I have a really hard time with anything that seems even slightly none of her business.  Sigh...felt good to vent, but it sure would feel good to get her to stop her sh*t!

That is horrible.. I'm so sorry she said all those hurtful things..

as for the bahamas thing she is being completely ridiculous.. I'm sure that as long as you don't post that when your gone it will be fine.. She sounds like a real drama queen.. why do *most* MILs have to be batsh!t crazy?( I know some of your ladies have great MIL's)

I am so sorry that you have had to go through this. I have some issues with mine, too, but nothing that compares to that. People on facebook don't tag your whereabouts, so I think she is definitely being overly paranoid. Just have a lot of fun when your trip rolls around and hopefully she will also forget and stop badgering you guys!!!

That sounds ridiculously frustrating.  I hope MIL can learn to mind her own business one day.  That's awesome you're going to the Bahamas though! (and I am POSITIVE your house will be left unlooted while you're gone - it sounds like she is drama!)  ((Hugs to You))
