Two Under 2

Having trouble remembering to put #2 down for naps

I know, terrible of me.  With ds, I watched the clock and his cues to see when he needed a nap.

Now with dd, I find myself wondering why she's fussy and crying while I'm holding her and tending to ds or the house, only to find her falling asleep in my arms.  Duh Mama, she needed a nap.

I'm trying to be better about it, but god, the nice hourly routine I had with one baby is shot with 2.  Please tell me I'm not alone.

  • You are not alone. But ds2 will not just fall asleep in my arms. He will fuss and cry and arch his back and be really difficult to get to sleep. Now he is waking almost every hour of the night-probably because we are in a bad overtired cycle. But you are not alone. It is really hard to watch the clock and get everything else done.

Mine has gone through a 4 month wakeful too.  She's starting to come out of it thankfully.  Hopefully yours gets better soon too.
